Yoga always kept me grounded through life’s transitions. Its Tests. Over the course of 30 years of personal practice, I dove deep, earning RYT 500 and Reiki Level I and II certifications.

Then came perimenopause.

At first, I blamed the symptoms on life—on divorce, deaths, empty nest, a prickly teenager, a business, bills—all the things. But why did I feel whipped and overwhelmed by life? Why didn't yoga and grit keep me balanced like they always had?

Then, I learned how hormones function.

They are the happy pills, lubricants, shine drops, go-juice, disease preventers and anti-inflammatories we didn't know we ran on until they stop running.

When I learned about the full-body toll of hormone loss, I wondered, why isn't there more language, support, community, and kindness for this experience?

One morning I woke up with The Pine Practice, ready to go. Pine is the immersive, multi-sensory, yin-yoga based method for midlife I would have leaned on, had it existed.

When a pine tree is wounded, it secretes resin to protect the wound. This resin, in turn, is a balm for all wounds.

The Pine Practice is resin.
